Career

• Dr. Jürgen Schultheiß has been working in the field of industrial property protection since 1997 and has been a patent attorney and professional representative at the European Patent Office since 2001.
• While writing his doctoral thesis (Dr. phil. nat.) in biochemistry at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University in Frankfurt, Dr. Jürgen Schultheiß completed a supplementary course with focus on business information technology and corporate taxation at the Open University (Fernuniversität) of Hagen, graduating with a diploma in business chemistry. 
• Dr. Jürgen Schultheiß was supported by the "Kekulé scholarship" of the Stiftung Stipendien-Fonds of the German Chemical Industry Association (Verband der Chemischen Industrie) during his doctorate.
• Between 1987 and 1993, Dr. Jürgen Schultheiß studied chemistry with focus on macromolecular chemistry and physical chemistry at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg. His diploma thesis was awarded the Steinhofer Prize of the Freiburg University.
